Often hippies can be mistaken for hipsters. The other night we (the hip founders) were in a heated discussion regarding "Jesus" a hippie borderline hipster. We settled on a couple of distinguishing characteristics that separate the two styles. Hippies-minimal showering-lay in fields-wear no shoes (it allows them to be more one with the ground..whatever that means)-and they barely speak. Hipsters-modern day hippies-awesomely great style-hott-beards-cigs-PBR. We concluded that when you are in a situation where you are stuck between two guys-one a hippie, the other a hipster-CHOOSE THE HIPSTER.
